Federal context: the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported a May 2024 median wage of $73,850 for dietitians and nutritionists with 6 percent projected growth to 2034. The graduate degree requirement means you will be paying for a masters whether or not you wanted one. Given that, the only sensible strategy is to pick a program that also delivers your supervised practice hours, rather than paying twice for two separate gates.

With the Nutrition Program Quality Index 2026. Seven factors, 100 points, every one of them computed from information an institution or the accreditor publishes. That constraint is deliberate: it means a score you disagree with can be traced to a specific factor rather than to our taste.

Scores cluster. In a database built from published attributes, the difference between a program at 84 and one at 81 is usually one documentation decision by a marketing office, not a difference in education.
